1. What does “Casual Feis” mean? What do I wear?
In short, “casual” basically means no formal class or solo costumes and no wigs:) A feis with a twist! All competitors are will receive an official feis t-shirt with their registration and are asked to wear it with solid dark colored bottoms (pants, shorts, skirts/skorts…) socks of choice and, of course, regular ghillies and hard shoes.
2. Does this count as a regular feis? Will my placings count?
Absolutely. Irish Channel Feis is an official, registered CLRG feis. The feis will run the same as any other feis. The only difference is what the dancers will be wearing!
3. The feis is at a separate venue than the official hotel. Where should I pick up my registration packet/competition number?
You will be able to pick up your registration packet the day of the feis (Saturday, September 16, 2017) at the feis venue.
4. Will there be food available to purchase?
Yes! There will be official feis vendors for food and feis families also have access to all the vendors at Irish Fest, which will be on the same grounds as the competition.
